What the app and this store collect, why, and how to turn it off.
- Always sent
- To check your key: the key, a one-way hashed device ID, the device name, the macOS version and the app version — on activation and about once a day, with the IP address it came from.
- Usage stats
- Only if you allow it. Once a day: how many times each tool ran, which runs failed and why, which AI called it, the app language, and the country and city worked out from your connection. The IP address itself is not kept.
- Error reports
- Only if you allow it. When the app breaks: the type of error and where in the app, with the app and macOS versions. Paths that contain your name are removed before anything is sent.
- Never sent
- Your Figma files, what you type to your AI, your project folders, file names and page names.
- Purchases
- Your email, name, order and the invoice details you enter.
- How long
- Usage stats and error reports: 90 days, then only monthly totals with no device in them. IP addresses from key checks: 90 days. Orders and invoices: as long as tax law requires.
- Who sees it
- Only XBirds, on our own server. No analytics or advertising companies, and nothing is sold.
- Your choices
- Turn usage stats or error reports off any time in the app: Settings › Privacy. What was already sent is not deleted on request — it goes after 90 days. Questions: support@xbirds.org.
